It's as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Schedule your hayride time online. The hayride takes you to the pumpkin patch, where students will be able to pick a kid-sized pumpkin to take home.

  2. Decide when to arrive at The Farmstead. Make sure to plan adequately to arrive at your scheduled hayride time. In some cases, you may want to plan some time on the farm prior to your hayride. We ask that the teacher checks their class in at the Admissions building at least 15 minutes in advance of their scheduled hayride time. The Farmstead is open for Field Trips only on Fridays during the season from 10:00am-1:00pm. On average, classrooms spend 2 hours at the farm.

  3. Remember these tips for an a-MAiZE-ing Field Trip: Bring a full water bottle, dress appropriately for being on the farm, and consider bringing snacks or lunches.

Farmstead Field Trips include:

  • Hayride to the patch where each student can pick a kid-sized pumpkin to take home

  • Navigate one phase (half) of The MAiZE or the Mini MAiZE

  • Visit to our farm animals and honeybees

  • Play on the Corn Poppers, Corn Cob Beach, the Famous Idaho® Potato Sack Slide, and more!

  • We recommend you plan your Field Trip for approximately 2 hours
