FRUIT & FLOWER FEST

We are farming fun and harvesting memories early this year as we kick off our 2021 Fruit & Flower Fest on Labor Day weekend! All the fun and food will be offered and, in addition, we will have more beautiful flowers, a daily butterfly release, a selection of local fruit, and a Labor Day Market featuring local vendors.

Regular admission pricing applies to the 2021 Fruit & Flower Fest and Labor Day Market, but please note that dates and times are different than our 2021 Fall Season. Season Passes are good for the entire season, including the Fruit & Flower Fest.

U-Pick Flower Field:

  • We've planted even more flowers and varieties for you to explore, photograph, and enjoy this year!

  • Included with Admission

  • 4 acres of flowers

  • 17 varieties of sunflowers

  • 4 varieties of zinnias

  • Enjoy the sunset behind the field in the evening

  • Ride the Grain Train through the flower field

  • Photos can be taken* while visiting the farm - this is a great place for photos!

  • Flowers are sold at $1 per bloom.

  • Pre-purchase your Flower Bucket online for $17.99 ($21.99 if purchased on the farm) while supplies last. This includes the bucket and up to 10 cut sunflower or zinnia blooms the must all fit in the bucket.

  • After the field is past full bloom, buckets will only be available on the farm.

Butterfly Release:

  • Gather at 7:00pm on Sept. 3-4, 6, 10-11 to release butterflies in the Flower Field

  • Those who wish to participate can purchase a butterfly online or on the farm

 

Local Fruit:

  • Local in-season fruit will be featured

  • pre-sold or available while supplies last for walk-up guests

  • Stay tuned for product selection and pricing

Labor Day Market

 

We invite you to attend the Labor Day Market, part of our 2021 Fruit & Flower Fest! Vendors will be bringing high quality, locally sourced produce, crafts, and goods to market. Items you may find include original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor, and food. The Labor Day Market at Lowe Family Farmstead will hail to the traditional roots of small town farmers' markets across the country. Weekday Discounted Admission is required and includes the Labor Day Market in addition to the Lowe Family Farmstead experience.
