FUN WAYS TO ADD AGRICULTURE TO

EDUCATION

Fall Field Trips

This is our richest educational experience available. Preschool through 5th grade students visit as a class for a self-guided field trip on the farm, play time, and pumpkin picking off the vine. Teacher curriculum is available to connect their on-the-farm experience with in-class objectives. Chances are, even the teachers will walk away with a new-found understanding of Idaho agriculture!

Spring Field Trips

Preschool through 3rd grade students visit as a class for a self-guided field trip on the farm, play time, and feeding the animals!

Homeschool & Virtual Learning Days

Fall and Spring Homeschool & Virtual Learning Days are great! There is no minimum number and families can pay individually on a Homeschool & Virtual Learning Day. It's a great deal and your entire group will learn more about agriculture and have a farm-tastic time!

FUNdraiser Nights

Kick off your school year with a great unifying event that actually generates money for your school. Families come to your school night at Lowe Family Farmstead for a deeply discounted price and your school gets a portion of the admission. Families are free to play at their own pace and will pick up some educational tidbits around the farm. Incorporate "Kiss the Pig" to build excitement, drive attendance, and create lasting memories.
