Choose from pumpkins we have picked or take a hayride to the patch to find your perfect pumpkin. Our huge pumpkin patch has thousands of pumpkins of every size, shape, and color. In fact, this year we have more than 50 different varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and Indian corn. From Jack-O-Lanterns to pie pumpkins and warted gourds to Indian corn, you are sure to find the one that strikes your fancy. Pick them right off the vine or choose from some that we have pre-picked for you.
Guide to Pumpkin Picking:
GO: Walk or take the hayride into The Farmstead's Pumpkin Patch. TIP: If you're walking, grab a wagon to help haul your pumpkins out!
SEARCH: Find your perfect pumpkins! Take some time to explore all the quality varieties of pumpkins we have to offer. TIP: The Farmstead plants many varieties (many of our favorites listed below). We know that you'll find just what you're looking for!
PICK: Pick your pumpkin off the vine. Careful not to damage the stem! TIP: Find the joint where the stem turns to vine. Bending the vine at this weak spot is the best way to disconnect the stem from the vine.
HAUL: Bring your pumpkin to the Scale House near the exit to be weighed. Pay per pound at the Exit Booth. TIP: If you have a wagon, wheel it onto the scale and we will subtract its weight from the total!
